I think Robert is correct. I have both red and blue oval label Super Champion rims and they are 27 inch wheels. For additional confirmation, check out this closed e-bay auction:

I have :

a blue oval label Super Champion Competition rim, which is about 21 mm wide and schrader valve, 27 inch.

a blue square label Wolber Super Champion Gentleman 81 on one sticker, about 21 mm wide, presta valve. 27 inch

a red oval label (no other designation on label) schrader valve 27 inch about 25 mm wide.

a red oval label Super Champion with a separate Gentleman sticker on rim, presta valve, about 21 mm wide.

Still looking, by the way, for the last rim on this list, the Super Champion RED oval label, gentleman sticker (separate sticker) presta valve.

Actually, I believe that the "red" versus "blue" coloration distinction was one adopted by French rim builder Rigida with respect to 700C versus 27" rim sizing. To the best of my knowledge, Super Champion and most certainly later Wolber rims did not adhere to this convention.

Don't the 27" Super Champs have blue labels, and the 700C ones red labels?
