I can't identify the S5 without photos, but at $25 for an NIB Stronglight HS, I dn't think you can go wrong. Might be French thread, but if you can't use that, I'm sure someone on the list can.

Because I'm familiar with the Stronglight Competition V4 headsets I purchased both of those. The shop has two Stronglight Competition S5 headsets for approximately $25.00 each. I'm not familiar with this model so I was hoping someone on the list could let me know something about them and let me know if the price the shop is asking is within reason. Are they better than the V4? What year were they first available? They look like they are machined, but lack the lovely chrome of the V4 headsets. Any help would be appreciated.
