Hi Toni,

Is it a B17 Swallow? Only the B17 model is listed pre war, and I believe that it had the slots in the saddle leather.

I forgot to mention before, but have you seen the catalogue collection at http://www.brooksengland.com/ ? If you open the website, open the drop-down menu titled "Homepage", drop down to "Heritage", then click on "Yesteryear Catalogue Collection", you can download catalogues from the late 1800's onwards.

I've copied in the CR list members, since any not aware of this site might find it useful also.

Best regards,

Neil Foddering Weymouth, Dorset, England
