John & Mark,

My Demontable Camping Rene Herse(1983-84) has a 531C decal on it. If it is competition I must say the bike is very stiff and stable loaded but the weight might be 36 lbs (or more) but it is heavily accessorized.

It's a heavy weight in the competition department.

Standard Reynolds decals don't give a clue to the wall thickness, and neither does the Herse catalog. I'm afraid you're just going to have to buy one, then saw it in a bunch of pieces to find the various wall thicknesses. Let us know what you find out! Mark Bulgier Seattle WA USA>>
