with all this talk about cool aero tubed early 1980s bicycles, we have this W.D. Stevenson Aero oval Frame/fork for sale.
Built by bill stevenson out of Olympia Washington. 48cm center to
center seat tube(50cm center to top). 51cm center to center toptube.
Repainted by CyclArt. Shimano dropouts. Shimano Dura Ace AX aero mount
shifters and Aero oval seatpost. Bike looks to be late 1970s, early
1980s. All the tubes are oval, even the fork blades and seatstays and
chainstays. Takes 700c wheels. Takes an Endless band type front
derailleur, like Suntour Superbe Pro. Super cool frame. Only 2 decals,
the headtube one that is partial, and then the Cycl Art decal on the
chainstay. English thread. It is used, of course.
