Your photos aren't coming through, but it sounds like it's a Campy Grand Sport, with the three pins. There was one with a steel cottered arm/spider set, and an aluminum cotterless one. Lower-end than Record and Nuovo Record. An aluminum one just sold NOS or near-NOS for about $107 or so on Ebay.

I think the diamond-8 and diamond-7 are date codes, mismatched in your case. Probably a repair or upgrade. I think Raleigh went to Japanese cranks, not lower-end Campy on the mid-'70s Super Courses..
