I have seen seversl occasions, new (old stock, never used) or used ones. T o me, it is defective plastic materal shrinking over bronz bushing/bearing to cuase the crack.

So, far I have not seen splitting in 1/2, broken away, it hold up O.K. even after the crack happens.

I have repaired (several occasions) pouring gray (lighter color though, with

J.B. Weld) epoxy glue, and shave and sanding down. It looks O.K., better than having the gap, but

either way they seems hold up O.K. as a set of pullieys.

Has anyone seen broken apart?

Have a great evening,
