i.m.o. old Olmos are tres cool, particularly the 50's and early 60's top-of-their-line full Campi bikes with that luscious chromovelatto paint style. Tough to locate good examples, easily as "rare" today in the states as any of the big-name builders. I may have a whack at refurbishing my '61-'62 Olmo Deluxe

It's an excellent, comfy and still-responsive ride....none of the "dead" characteristic I've noted on other 50's-era Columbus-tubed bikes.

The post-boom late 70's/early 80's Olmo's don't do a thing for me that would be "Olmo-centric"...but thats just me.
