USA and Italy must have been using different decal sets for a time, or maybe it took a long time for the Vig to run out of the old set... I have photos of Italian bikes with crosshair decals from '73, some possibly as late as 1974. Chuck's Sammontanaa bike, 6-73 fork stamp, has crosshairs. Granted, it is a "blue-panel" decal, but still, the US "blue panels" had no crosshairs. The twinplate at Speedbicycles and Jay Van de Velde's twinplate, both all-original and with "Alberto Masi" panto'ed stems, both have crosshair decals.
