I think it says Reynolds 531 Frame Tubes. I believe a DB frame would say "Reynolds Butted Frame Tubes" There doesn't seem to be enough room to the left for this decal to say "Butted", so I am guessing this is straight gauge main tubes. I'm not sure that in this era the frame decal mentioned the forks and stays, so one might have to rely on separate fork decals to identify the forks. Come to think of it, though, I'm not sure whatt the fork decals looked like circa 1950 or if Reynolds even made fork decals then. Anyone know about this?

Here is the only photo I have of this transfer---

It is from a circa 1955 Claud Butler "New All Rounder" mixte with bilaminate lugs. I can make out part of the "Reynolds" and part of what I think is "frame."

What does the transfer read in full?

Is this the 531 plain gauge transfer? Does it apply only to the main triangle, the entire frame, or to the whole shebang---frame and fork?

Anyone have a better scan of this particular type of transfer, or can somebody point me to a site with a better image?

Thanks in advance...
