There's a photo of John Paul II, Ernesto & crew, and the white city bike (partially obscured by the Pope) on Page 7 of the 2005 Colnago catalog, indicating the year 1986 and the captions (in Italian and English), "La seconda bicicletta sportiva realizzata per Giovanni Paolo II. / The second sports bike manufactured for Giovanni Paulo II."
