I think most of us would agree vintage (is there any other kind?) mixte frames are cool. However, I once read that the best of these use a single toptube that later splits into two rather than the more common double toptube. I have only seen one such mixte and it was a Stella with low-end Campy, Tipo hubs, etc. I have a chance to get a mixte Motobecane Grand Touring and though hard to tell from the pics, appears to have the 1 into 2 toptubes. Can anyone confirm that indeed Motob made them this way in 70's (french crank, Normandy and Suntour derail)?
