Subject: [CR]R O Harrison and A Waller cycles

I'm the Veteran-Cycle Club Marque Enthusiast for A Waller Cycles, and am waiting to hear from the V-CC committee regarding my offer to act as joint Marque Enthusiast (with a V-CC member who's not a CR subscriber) for R O Harrison.

This is an appeal for those of you on the list who own cycles or frames by either of these makers to let me have the following details, so that I can build up an archive of each marque.

1. Make. 2. Model, if known. 3. Age, if known (scans of purchase receipts would be particularly welcome). 4. Frame size (seat tube c-t). 5. Photos, if possible, so that I can identify lug patterns, types of dropouts and other features. 6. History of the bike, if known. 7. Any other features you feel may be of interest.

There is lot more information which would be of interest, such as braze-ons and rear drop-out spacing, but I feel that if I limit what I'm asking for, I may get a better response!

In return, I will help, if I can, with requests such as dating of the bike, identification of model, appropriate equipment for rebuild, etc. I have R O Harrison catalogues from 1934 ( he set up business in 1933) to the early 50's, to which I can refer. Many of these were kindly loaned to me by Hilary, by the way.

Thank you!
