Many thanks to Hilary Stone for clearing up the clanger question. Had no replies on Wolsit bicycles but found out the following: July 1 1907 The Welseley Tool and Motor Car Company Limited in Birmingham, England, issues an internal order to build three race cars to be run in the Coppa Florio in Italy, later in the year. They will be raced under the Wolsit name, which is a joint venture between Wolseley, Banca di Legnano, and Macchi di Varese (1907). Also Gino Bartali road a Wolsit early in his career. My Wolsit frame appears to be from the late 40's perhaps 50's every cable is internally routed through the frame tubes, pretty lugs but rather plain ends any help greatly appreciated.
