A catalog listing from Chuck Schmidt' Velo-Retro gives part of the story:
"Legnano / Emilio Bozzi Catalog, late 1920s -- 64 pages, parts and bikes from the manufacturer of Legnano, Perla and Wolsit bicycles. Very nice steel plate engravings of parts! Text in Italian. B&W cover. $ 12" Chuck has later related catalogs also. Emilio Bozzi eventually bought Frejus in the 1960's also. I believe Bozzi had many companies going and that the Wolsit name was on components also, at least tires and rims. Joe Bender-Zanoni Great Notch, NJ USA

\r?\n> question. Had no replies on Wolsit bicycles but found out the
\r?\n> following: July 1 1907
\r?\n> The Welseley Tool and Motor Car Company Limited in Birmingham,
\r?\n> England, issues an internal order to build three race cars to be
\r?\n> run in the Coppa Florio in Italy, later in the year. They will
\r?\n> be raced under the Wolsit name, which is a joint venture between
\r?\n> Wolseley, Banca di Legnano, and Macchi di Varese (1907). Also
\r?\n> Gino Bartali road a Wolsit early in his career. My Wolsit frame
\r?\n> appears to be from the late 40's perhaps 50's every cable is
\r?\n> internally routed through the frame tubes, pretty lugs but
\r?\n> rather plain ends any help greatly appreciated.
