Um, Phil, it did get bid on.. The auction was ended early by the seller. I'd bet it was sold to someone, the seller cancelled the auction early (after I'd placed a bid) as "no longer available for sale." Possibly/probably got a slew of e-mails either telling him it was foolish to risk letting it go for 800 bucks, or offers to sell it off-auction. I'd guess the latter, though I suppose he coulda got seller's remorse as well. Just more of the foibles of eBay (and to a lesser extent, rabid eBay CR-ers) that I LOVE so MUCH.
