I finally have a milled NR seat post and a milled 1A stem for my totally poseur Merckx Molteni replica project. I want to paint in the milling, but I'm not sure what the correct color would be. Is it black, orange, or yellow?
I wouldn't be surprised if Eddy had different colors on different bikes, so I guess more than one color may be correct. In fact, I have a feeling the color wasn't always the same for the stem and post - I seem to recall seeing photos showing the post filled in black while the stem was filled in orange or yellow.
All info greatly appreciated.
