Tom asked:

> I'm unclear on which companies are related. Ambrosio stopped making stems under their own brand at some point and started to use the Techno Tubi Torino (TTT) name? Or was that Fiamme? And what about ITM, where did they come from? I don't remember anything ITM before the late 80s. Let's put it this way:

Faded from the market for bars/stems but still makes other components.

Even earlier faded from the market. I remember seeing a very small display at one of the Milan shows in the late '70's or early '80's. I don't think this company still exists.
> Where did TTT and ITM come from? and when?

I don't know about where they come from (check their web sites), but TTT and ITM have been around since the '60's when I entered the bike biz. TTT had more orientation to upper end components and the larger ITM was more oriented to the OEM business.

If this isn't sufficient info I can ask around when I'm in Milan next month.
