Dear listers,

The restoration and build of three bikes ('72 Presto, '78 Zieleman and '86 Gazelle Speedstream), all as period correct as I can force myself to, are coming in the final stages. At the moment the house looks like a rather chaotic bikeshop (on a positive note: soon I will have some very nice classics that I can actually ride!).

So I need to clear the house of unneeded parts, in the coming months I'll offer some to the list or even go the ebay way, for the OT parts.

Here's the first batch, a nearly complete 1980 Campagnolo Gran Sport group (only the headset is missing). The parts come from one bike, and were hardl y used and certainly not raced or crashed, so everything is virtually scratch and rust free. Some parts look new.

The group consists of:

· Chainset, 5-arm, 170 mm, 52 and 44 rings, includes perfect dustcaps,

· Bottom bracket, English, excellent condition,

· Brakes and levers, original brake blocks hardly used, lever hood s dry and cracked but not torn,

· Front (clamp-on) and rear derailleur (one pulley wheel is a whit e Campy replacement), gearlevers (braze-on),

· Pedals (alloy cages, Gran Sport script on body),

· Hubs, 36 holes (actually I have two pairs, one 120 mm the other 125 mm),

· Seatpost 27,2 mm, lightly zigzagged.

I would like to sell the group as a whole for 165 USD. If this doesn't work out, I could sell piecemeal, interested listers for the whole group have preference of course. Shipping to the USA for the whole group (assuming it weighs less than 5 kgs) is 40 USD; this is Priority airmail, insured. Payment from the US by paypal only please. Please ask anything else you'd like to know.
