The brochure from the vintage trek site talks about special Imron paint etc that these bikes were painted with . Does anyone still use this paint and the methods talked about in the brochure? Also I am running Suntour Superebe Pro components(are these on-topic?) and if so are they time period correct? Most professional restorers use imron. Your bike is a relatively easy repaint. Check out the CR site for a list refinishers. Brian Baylis and Doug Fattic who are both at the top of their craft contribute to this list.
