Hi folks!
I will be in Nashville, TN for a conference arriving Tuesday night, October 3rd and leaving Monday afternoon, October 9th. Are there any CR listmembers living in that area that would be generous enough to let me borrow a bike for that week? Preferabley vintage, but I won't look a gift-horse in the mouth... size between 59 and 64 cm - I can ride a 58 (c-to-c) if the seatpost is long enough... I will bring my own pedals and shoes... Can anyone help me out??? I promise to take good care of it, and would even be willing to leave a "security deposit" if you'd like... even a "beater" would be better than riding those damn exercise bikes in the hotel gym!!!
Along those same lines, are there any bike shops within an hour of Nashville that I should not miss?
and while i'm taking up bandwidth, great pics from Gabriels vintage ride this past weekend - thanks for posting them Dan. My personal favorite is this shot of Pergo and Maasland track-standing at an intersection in vintage kit on two exquisite rides!!! Awesome!!!
