When Gillotts packed up Edwards of Camberwell took on the brand name. The early produced Edwards Gillott frames were of good quality although they did produce an entry level Gillott as well. In the early 80's the Edwards Gillotts were nothing special, they normally had a Union Jack type Gillott transfer fitted to them but they were still using the nice Gillott headbadge on them. I am sure Edwards were not only a bike shop and repairer as you use to see Edwards and Gillott frames for sale in cycling shops all over the UK. They always reminded me of 80's Sun frames? The Edwards shop is still in Camberwell: EDWARDS OF CAMBERWELL 221-248 Camberwell Road Camberwell London (South), SE5 0HG T: 0207 7035720
