As you say, these are not both left arms, but the taper on the mod 93 left is the same as on the right, so I think I was wrong in initially assuming the left arm was the same for both model. Not sure why, you would think they would have saved a bit on tooling by making the arms the same, then the left arm could have been common to both models.

In a pinch, though, you could use a mod 93 left with a mod 99 right and only the real Francophiles would ever notice. Closer than a combo I have - Zeus 2000 right with original Dura Ace left. The problem is that the Zeus 2000 right is 167.5 and the only 167.5 left I could find that looked even remotely similar was the Dura Ace. Anyone have a spare 167.5 Zeus 2000 left? Ha, fat chance.

The arm taper is quite different in the two models:

That's the mod.99 (left) on the bottom and the mod. 93 (right) on the top -- sorry they're not both left arms, but I'm still looking for a 165mm left arm to go with that mod. 93 right arm. Anyone got one to spare?
