In view of the interest that's been stirred up by my mention of traditional cycling shorts (I've had quite a number of off-list emails) I've loaded a few pages from the 1930's photo albums I bought a couple of years back onot a photohosting site. The photos include pics of the album owner, his family, cycling friends and places he visited, and I've selected a few which I may be of interest.
They depict the clothing of the ordinary clubmen in a style which semms to have spanned the years from the late 1920's to the early 1950's, and can be viewed at:
