Hi all, many thanx for all the replies, I should have been a little bit more imformative, but in the end the seller of this item is sending ma another headset, so hopefully will end up with the correct fork race. As was mentioned to me, I could have used seperate balls, which really probally would have worked, but looking at the missmatch between the 2 bottom parts its hard to say if they would work in the end. But yes seperate ball would be something I should really do with my bicycle to make those now HTF items last longer...regards wayne davidson Invers NZ, daylight saving tonight.....
