Curt,

I had the use of a borrowed camera for the weekend, but I hadn't yet built the generater hub into a wheel whose rim matched the rear. I have the Schmidt SON, the proper butted spokes, and an MA2 rim sitting in my workshop waiting for a build. I originally built the wheels up with MA3s but ended up not liking those rims and I'm 2/3rds of the way done with the conversion. I have to give the camera back before I expect I'll finish the wheel, so ...

In answer to your question then, the light, when properly connected to a generator wheel, is primarily powered not by solar, wind, etc, but by burritos. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is there a better source of fuel?

Thanks for your comments.
