As I mentioned when I outed this bike to the List I anticipated seeing the actual bike during the course of a visit to the sller to collect a couple of frames that I had agrred to buy from him.
Sure enough the Donovan was occupying a prestigious place, leaning against the back of the sette in the sellers front lounge...no damp shed at the bottom of the garden for this machine.
The bike is actually better than it looks on Ebay..and really is an interesting example of a very rare English lightweight from the 50s.
The seller is an experienced cycle mechanic ans appears to keep all his machines in good nick, and presenting them well for sale.
I have no connection with the seller other than that I had won two of his auctions and he lives a 35 minute drive away from me.
