Can a frame builder out there help me with a question that has bugged me for years. I have a nice red and chrome lugged Pinarello. The down tube is drilled and threaded for a bottle cage but there are no external bosses. It is clear from the depth of threads that there must be bosses inside the tube. How the hell do they do that? I feel it is rather pointless as although it looks neat on the bare frame when you mount a cage it is hidden. Ray Green, Brighton, England
