I have a Butler which at some point in its life was repainted a Corvette Yellow. A beautiful job, but I understand the original colour was British Racing Green.
I bought the bike from the second owner who is the one that repainted it and he remembers the green. There is lots of chrome and I have found a pianter that will do the repaint and protect the chrome ( Chris deKerf of deKerf Cycles Innovations).
My question is this, on the yellow frame, the Butler decals are black with Gold highlight outlining. Does anyone have any idea what the decals would have been on the original green (I think the bike is late '60's)
