Hi, the great thing about this list and Wooljersey is that you learn stuff. Last year I bought a bunch of stuff amongst which was a BSA double chainring - no cranks. I had a pair of BSA cranks so after I'd cleaned the crud off the rings I tried to fit them together. In the usual way, mind. Threading the crank through the hole to bolt up the flange on the inside. It went through but there was no clearance for the chain. The inside face of the crank was touching the outer ring. The only 5-pin crank in my stash to fit is a Gnutti splined type. Now I see from Pete Naimans' BSA that they fit the crank flange on the outside face of the inner ring. Who would've thought!! It's unrestored too which adds weight to the solution.
