Subject: [CR]FS: Rossin Record frame

Spring cleaning comes early this year. This Rossin frame has to go, as I ow n three other Rossins too. As you can see in the pics it now serves a my 'grocery getter' (dry weather only!). This frame is probably 1983, 84. Tubing is Columbus SL, size 58 c-t seattube, 56,5 c-c toptube. Fd is braze-on, engravings on forkcrown and seatstay cap, cutouts ('R') in bb shell and headlug. Topttube has a very small ding. Last year I completely stripped the frame of its paint, since it was in bad shape. I thoroughly sanded the frame, and rattle-canned primer and a dark blue metallic paint on it. So now I know the front fork and the rear triangle are chromed! This will make a great restoration object (the right decals can easily be bought on ebay). Since this is exactly the same frame as the red Rossin in my wooljersey album, I can testify to its excellent riding qualities: a great combination of agility and stability. If I was still racing, I'd race this one. Price of the frame + Dura Ace 7400 headset is $ 80,-, shipping to the US would be around $ 60 or $ 65. I will gladly give any info you might want.
