Hi there,
I've just joined your little list. Great to see so many great old bikes out there.
I have a Harry Quinn touring bike, which I bought, used, in 1974. I reckon it was probably about ten years old when I bought it, in Cambridge England. It has Campag dropouts and Nervex decorative lugs with full Campag kit out. (I think I upgraded d from the original Weinmann brakeset in the early 80s). I run a Campag Rally derailleur, which is just great for those big mountains when you have full panniers and still have 27" wheels.
I'm desperately trying to find whatever information I can about Quinn bikes, history and especially their paint and design styles. I am about to give mine a complete strip and restore, and would like to be as close to authentic as possible.
The original paint was, from memory, silver and red but I turned it British racing green after a nasty scrape a couple of decades ago.
You can see some images of the bike in its current configuration at:

Any info or photos of original Quinns gratefully received. (I have seen the ones on your site.)
