Clearly 200k in very hilly terrain is just outside of my ability at this
time. Maybe a report later, after I get home from the shop.
Hey Everyone!
Lucky Lou Deeter will be in town from Florida this coming Tuesday, January 31, 2006 and to celebrate The BVVW will be getting together for a special evening of fun and food. The fun starts at about
6:00-6:30 p.m. at:
The Ginger Man Bar
11 East 36th St. (5th-Madison Ave.)
New York, New York
1-212-532-3740
http://www.gingerman-ny.com http://www.gingerman-ny.com/
We will consume various types of beer from among about 200 different brands. Loud, and FUN!
Then, at about 7:30-8:00 p.m. or so, the group will make it's way to some wonderful Manhattan restaurant to gorge, chit chat, and end up in DEEP conversation about some yet unknown subject (yea, right!).
The possibilities for dinner include Katz's Deli for a little Jewish nosh (Houston Street; Lower East Side; hear that Ritchie?), Lil' Frankies (#19-1st Ave., between 1st and 2ed St.) for EXTREEM brick oven pizza and foccacino (like a warm thin Italian pita bread with some ricotta and prociutto and a little truffle oil. WOW!!!), and Michael Jordan's (Grand Central Station) for steak.
ALL are invited.
