Hence Steve Heffernan's bike when he rode for BSA was SH.1.78, his track bike for the sixes SH.2.78, Beryl Burton - BB.1.80 & BB.2.80 I well rember receiving a frame at Ilkeston in 1980 for refinishing from a customer in the UK with the frame number TT.274. Caused a bit of head scratching - but - Tino Tabac the second frame built for him in 1974. Not all team frames were built >by Jan LeGrand, of course.<
