Check the diameters on the clamps - I bet you have a stoker clamp off an old Schwinn tandem. The Paramount alloy slider measures 7/8" for the stem clamp and 1" for the bars.

And use your real name Mr. Bongiovi, er, Bongiorno . . . whatever. Step "out of the closet" and acknowledge that you (SHUDDER) like OLD BIKES . . . ! It isn't the social suicide you might fear. It is 2006, after all. Just keep it low-key and no one will be the wiser.

the majority of the schwinn bar clamps are aluminum but i have one that is steel, it looks the same as the alloy ones and has the script logo. has anyone seen this before? does anyone know which came first? thanks giani bongiorno......s.f.....ca.
