Hi Nigel. Nice to see a post from another CB owner. Was your bike purchased as a full cycle? If so, the original £30. price will greatly narrow down the possibilities once you have established the model year from the serial number, as Michael Butler has already mentioned. Regards, C.J. Hello,

I own a Claud Butler from the 1950's (it was originally my father's). I've been trying to track down some more information about which model it is, and I think it is a "Club International". I wonder if anyone can confirm that? I've put some pictures of it the bicycle here:

The rear mudguard claims it is a "Club Special". There are also Olympic Rings painted on the frame (which made my thing originally that it might be an "Olympic Sprint", but the specification more closely resembles a "Club International").

If of use, you are welcome to use the photo for the Claud Butler section of the Classic Rendezvous web site.

Best regards,
