Splendor bikes were made by.... Splendor! I seem to recall their company backed right up to Flandria, and the companies were run by two brothers.

there was an article in the March 1999 issue of Cycle Sport about the "12 Greatest Bicycles Ever". Flandria made the list, and Splendor was an "Honorable Mention".
