I'm planning to spot-paint one of these japanese Raleigh Superbes with the "gold" (lacquer over chrome-plate) finish. Went to hobby store looking for some tinted clear-lacquer but didn't find any. My next move will be to experiment with the tinted transparent decant found in pigment-settled paint jars. Any tips on creating this faux-gold finish?
