Yup, you read it here first:

FS: Stonglight 93 Right Crank, $15. Or equally funky trade.

Of course, at this price, there has to be a catch or two. (1) Please add $5 for US shipping. (2) Buyer selected 24 hr. after digest mode appears, if there is someone who actually wants this maimed orphan.

(3) Yup, it is a right arm, but it is left-threaded. This is left over from the crossover drive on a tandem we converted from cottered cranks. Conversion is accurately done, with helicoil. Think of the possible uses, which might include:

--> wall-hanger. It's in pretty good condition. --> fiendish cruel joke. Install on right side, with symmetric pedal. Take to local pompous "expert" and complain that it won't come off. --> Just use it, with symmetric pedals, and see what happens. --> find a left crank threaded right, or just use any old 5-pin right crank, and build up a left-hand drive fixed gear bike. Call it a "Pino," since it was one of his ideas, to get a little more clearance on steeply banked tracks. Of course, with a 170 crank instead of 165, this would be sort of a Pino Poseur, so you can call it that.

That's my quota for tonight.
