Subject: [CR]outing of Lambert bicycle

For those who might be interested in seeing a nearly complete Lambert Grand Prix bicycle, replete with so-called death fork (does anyone actually have any statistics on the breakage of these or whether they were recalled or anything else that would provide substance to the nickname for them?), here is a mine on the wooljersey site: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/hayesbikes/lambert/

One of the items I find interested on it is the extent to which they at least stamped their own parts: hubs, brakes, seatpost tightener, rear brake guides, handlebars, crankset, and though the pedals and seatpost (looks like a NR seatpost) do not have a manufacturer's stamp on them, they appear to fit with the other "Lambert" items. Does anyone know whether they also made derailleurs, shifters, and stem?

And as a special treat on this one, it bears the work of our fearless listmaster: the place where it was sold is Greensboro Bicycle Center on Friendly Avenue, and Dale confirmed that he likely sold, worked, or prepped it.

Cheers.
