Dear List:

I just won a French Follis racing frame from the early 70's or so on eBay. A look through the archives indicates that Follis was best known for their touring frames and tandems. Does anyone have any information about a Follis racing program? Did they sponsor or supply any significant teams? I've seen some references to Follis sponsoring American riders: San Francisco Cyclery had or has a rebadged Teledyne Titan/Follis supposedly ridden by pioneering American J. Boyer during his American phase before he traveled to Europe. Presumably then someone in the US imported Follis frames at one time. No doubt this is one of them.

On a different front, does anyone have closeups of the frame graphics? The CR pics are a bit too small for a good look. Anyone know if there's a commercial supply for vintage transfers? Lloyds and the usual sources don't list them. Follis is still in business in France, but I would doubt they still supply vintage transfers.

The auction link is : http://ebay.com/<blah

or item # 200037054855.

Thanks for any info.
