What a rare lucky find. Reminds me of when the Hunt Brothers cornered
the silver market. I'm tempting fate with a genuine AVA marked stem, but
I'm tired of looking at that hole in the rear of it. My wife suggested
plugging it with a red paste jewel. I think the porcelain "C" from our
cold water faucet would fit in nicely and be appropriate for the
Carlton. Can anyone think of a clever epitaph for the gravestone of one
whose death stem failure sends him or her west?
