Happy Friday Everyone: I am in the process of putting a 70's Gios back to original, or as close to as current time and budget will allow and I need some help on dating the frame please! The bike was an ebay auction with a couple of fuzzy pictures with a 9 speed veloce groupo. When it arrived it had a early 2 bolt Gios panto seatpost, two logo cinelli crit bars and had obviously been repainted. Only numbers under the BB is a '57'. The chrome fork has the 'GT' panto on the crown and it has four 'clover' type cut-outs under the bottom-bracket. I recently saw a Super Record with the 'GT' cut-out under the BB and the same fork and owner said it was a 1975. Anyone have any knowledge on the early pre 'Coin' Gios bottom bracket configurations and a timeline? BTW the seatpost is listed on Ebay as it was too short for my femurs, item # 330042603922 I am just starting a Wool Jersey album and a few pictures of the bike are up (but still not complete) http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Emailprice/ Thanks in advance,
