Don,

I don't have any idea what the derailleur is, but I wanted to point that bikelist.org is a fully ARCHIVED and SEARCHABLE mailing list. Nobody in the future will have any idea what the derailleur is, because an ebay auction number if a transient entity. Please, if asking a question about an auction, describe the auction fully.

For posterity, the derailleur (on a bike sold in massieux france) looks like an old cyclo of some type, about 5 inches in front of the rear mech. It looks like there might be a 3-speed freewheel, perhaps with a spoke protector installed behind it. The picture is blurry and there MIGHT be a vertical 8" shift lever attached to the derailleur. Without a larger picture, and a copy of the Dancing Chain in front of me (you DO own a copy of the Dancing Chain, don't you? So you can answer these questions yourself?) I cannot say for sure.
