The mod 99 was in production for a quite a while, at least from the mid-70's to the mid-80's. It spanned the change from Stronglight 23.35 extracator thread to 22.0 mm. It was neither ISO not JIS taper, but as an older Sutherlands states, JIS axles work pretty well with the old Stronglight cranks.

Can anyone tell me the years of production for the Stronglight 99 crankset? Also does anyone know if the cranks uses a JIS or ISO taper?

Thanks,
