I'm new to this list and currently working and living over in Seoul Korea. I must say that the only real thing I know about classic bikes is this bike I bought in 1979 in Augsburg Germany in a military PX. I went to a couple of local bike shops here in Seoul and the young guys in them just said it is too old for them to do much with, no parts. I wanted to see about replacing the front derailleur which I had recently broken. Would anyone know what model this bike is? Just curious and might want to buy more parts for it later. I thought it might be the PX-10 as I found some mention of that model on the internet in the years I bought it but not sure. I think I paid around $200 back in 79, the serial number is 90231272 or maybe 190231272. That is taken off the bicycle registration slip from when I initially bought it. I ride it most weekends and sometimes even to work and have quite a few miles on it over the years. Other than minor maintenance like replace the tires and tubes and a little oil and grease once in a while I have never done much to it. It is still in pretty good shape though. I am now replacing the front derailleur with a simplex replacement I just bought off e-bay and would also like to find a rear light assembly as I broke that off just a short time back. Where would I find an inexpensive rear light that would fit that type of rear fender?

This is a scan from the owners manual that came with it. There are some other pictures in the book from similar Peugeot models but this is my model. It doesn't say anywhere in the manual at least that I can find which model I have. If anyone is interested I could copy and scan the whole book, it's about 30 pages.

Thanks, it has been interesting reading some of your posts about classic bikes and I have been learning some. Hopefully I made this post correctly.
