I have a Bertoni Pro Victory (although I'm not sure of differences in the various models). I too bought it cheap (and also early in my collecting phase) mainly cause I couldn't resist its C-Record group and MA40s. I don't think I'm much of a judge but it seems to ride nice...if not as comfy as say...an International. Yes, I also heard they were made by Bianchi and tend to believe this because I think it would have been uneconomical for a small manufacturer to offer the pantagraphed parts and fully chromed frameset (under paint). Close examination reveals clean brazing and nice touches. For 2 cents I'd put the grouppo on a frameset with more panache but haven't found one both worthy and cheap yet. Interestingly, on occasion Bertoni are on Ebay and they do go relatively cheaply. I doubt will ever be collectable but nice italian iron just the same.
