I'm reminded of the old saw, "If you have to ask the price you can't afford it". There are many who are worth multi millions these days. Hollywood types, sports figures, CEOs & CFOs, TV evangelists, etc. If they want a custom bike, gold diamond studded his & hers Rolexes, diamond necklace for the mistress, they just order it, as they want it. The only need to ask the price is to write the check. As they say, "The rich are different".

I'm with the multitude who have to ask the prices and make compromises. I'm happy riding my restored thrift shop Raleighs, Carlton, Bertoni Schwinn & Panasonic. I'm not envious or critical of the multi mil group, but I'd be a hypocrite if I said I wouldn't enjoy inhaling Napoleon brandy whilst ordering a custom bicycle with the best of the best hanging on it. At those prices though I think they could at least include lunch at the Four Seasons and a Havana cigar.
