I recall first meeting up with the Freschi family at the 1983 Milan Show, and being vrey impressed by the range and quality of their frames, as the family had tried to diversify away from just building the inevitable range racing bikes.

Probably the most impressive machine was a racing tandem..all Columbus of course..but not far behind was a "hill-climb special" with a twin-seat-tube configuration, and a shorter wheelbase raod racing frame with a fluted seat tube. This model could be ordered in aero tubing, with a fluted tube also.

I don't recall seeing any actual touring frames on their stand, and none were listed in the catalogue, but two years later they were exhibiting lady's and gent's model of mountain bikes which in their Italian translation fif bear the word "tourismo"

I don't think that the company lasted much longer..at least it wasn't exhibiting in either 1989. or 1991..which was a real pity, as the frames, mostly painted in a cream enamel with a lot of chrome were very classy.
