Do you have photos you can post a link to? My Mercians have the serial # on the bottom of the BB shell, but they are all late 70's/ 80's, so the numbers might have been elsewhere in the 60's. I think it has been generally accepted that lugged steel Mercians are KOF and therefore OnTopic here, even if they are outside the CR timeline.
